Guitar for beginners/Circle of fifths
Been a while since I blogged and I have been busy practicing. The other evening I went into the video chat room on Zingingstrings forum and got a lesson on the circle of fifths from Jayjay. He explained to me about what the major key has in common with it’s relative minor, and that is that they both have the same number of sharps or flats and that goes for whatever note you play. He also went into a lot of detail about this and I found a lot of light bulbs flashing as we spoke, kind of like eureka.
So if you ever need to know what this circle of fifths is all about why not drop by Zingingstrings and our members will be more than willing and capable to give you an impromptu lesson.
Hope to see you soon
